Dating A Metro Man (Update on Release)

As of July 15, the book has shipped to Apple.  It should be available for sale at ibooks shortly.  It still has not shipped to Barnes and Noble or Sony.  It has shipped to Kobo, Diesel, and Scrollmotion.

As of July 11, the distributor still hasn't shipped the book to all channels yet. This moves the shipping to the end of this week and the availability at Apple, Sony, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Diesel, and Scrollmotion to the week of July 18.  I'm sorry Apple iPhone readers who keep writing to ask. I know you're waiting. When it reaches the channels, I will come back and update this blog entry.

Dating a Metro Man is currently available at Amazon and Smashwords. Smashwords has outputs that work on most eReaders if you want to check them out.  Also, Smashwords is having a July sale which means a discount on many books.

This is the last book in the Never Too Late series so I included two weddings in it to make sure we had enough closure on these characters. I doubled the HEA. One wedding might surprise you.

Thanks to all of you who have written to ask about it. Hope you enjoy the book.

I've been checking every day the past week to see if Dating a Metro Man was online yet, and was SOOO excited to find it this morning. Of course, I bought it immediately. I'm sure it is going to be just as good as the first three books. Thanks, Donna!

Just a heads up -- you might want to change this line when you get a chance:

"It had been months since he’d been a woman, and Allen had spent two months dating only this one."

Gotta admit, I did a double take when I read it. LOL!

Love your books! Can't wait for the next Art of Love book, too!

Clare, Smashwords distributes and they are a bit backed up in reviewing. I think it will go out Friday July 8. Apple is pretty quick about making them available. So you can check Sunday and it could be any day then. Thanks for asking! I hope you enjoy it.

Absolutely loved the story, but there were a few sentences with words missing that kinda changed the intended meaning.

Chris, I haven't had a chance to re-edit the book yet. Thanks for letting me know. After the release of the book, I tend to post a revision within a month.

All the publishing is done through a single word file. I can't tell yet if I am missing these when I do the original edits or if the software conversion process that turns it into an ebook is doing something to corrupt the file. I am constantly seeking ways to improve the process. Thanks for reading anyway. :-)

While you may have finished the series I think you left us one wedding short. I imagine the last one would have been a challenge both to yourself as a writer and to your readers but as you you were confident enough to make Paul and Sydney major characters in your books I think they deserved a wedding of their own.

True, Virginia doesn't allow same-sex marriages but Sydney being a successful designer might take it to the next level AND to a nearby state by hitting the fashion capitol of the US, NYC.

Don't they deserve the same level of happiness (and sometime misery) you gave your other characters? After all it's not about the sex (well some of it isn't) and maybe it's time to put the big girl pants on and give them their due!

Regina would certainly encourage you to write this and Alexa would love to see her ex able to share the same kind of bond that she and Casey share.

I've enjoyed all four of the books immensely and feel you could meet the challenge and hopefully your readers could do the same.

aldynskies, you make a good point and pose a fair challenge about the characters, but I don't know that I could do as much justice to such a book as your faith in me suggests. LOL. There are many writers in my genre writing m/m romances and doing a wonderful job. Sydney remains one of my favorite characters (I created him out of love for a family member). I will think about your request and talk to my writer friends. I mean, who knows? Thank you for saying such kind things about my work.
